Student, Ke Wangqiang (from Chile), supervised by the State-owned Enterprise Institute’s Liu Xiangyi, was awarded the Excellent Paper Award at the 2017 Chongyue Dissertation Awards. His master's thesis is titled, : "Exploration of the Internationalization of Taiwan's Banking Industry and its Determinants”. The thesis notes that cultural compatibility/ cultural affinity plays an additional role in the country-system-exclusive factors. The study was selected for its originality and academic value.
